September, is also the resuming period for the Diam 24od class with a new but regatta constraints-reduced time-table. Done with overloaded lorries, logistical headaches and last minutes stress thanks to the «Easy Regatta» regattas created by ADH Inotec shipyard. This new offer, due for Autumn 2018, will allow the teams to focus 100% on the regatta and leave to the shipyard all the logistical and maintenance tasks.
Feet in the straps
In practice, multihull sportboats are delivered all prepared at the start of competitions and the crew has nothing else to do but to place their feet in the straps. During the race the shipyard technicians are available for emergencies or specific advices, which make all the difference. Once the regatta is over, they take care of the boat dismantling and its transfer on the next race spot.
Design to offer more flexibility to participants, the formulae is adressed to all the ship owners or boat renters who can thus discover this high-performing multihull boat and the pleasure which high-speed regattas can procure without forcibly having to «buy» a boat. Time gain, less stress
« Our starting point was that people had less and less time to dedicate themselves to their favourite sport activities.» Vianney ANCELLIN, director of ADH inotec shipyard explains, convinced that the practice of sailing will evolve. « with this formulae, the teams will save precious time before and after the races, and more importantly, they won’t be bothered and free to focus completely on their regatta. This is possible because the Diam24 od has been conceived to diminish the contraints created by sailing practices. Her innovation logistic left to the care of a professional team allows this one design to be the best means when sailing on equal level. »
The formulae has proven itself in Spring during the Archipelago regatta in Sweden. Ten crews have discovered in this manner at high-speed Oslo bay. At the end of these three raids days, the conclusions are unanimous and that of Bruno Froideval, amateur, skipper is a perfect summary of it : « I discovered another dimension, pure pleasure. I have just discovered again the pleasure to navigate» he explains.
Fall season offer
For this first year, ADH inotec shipyard proposes attractive prices on end-of-year races. Henceforth, the team who wants to go for the formulae, the two mediterranean races inclusive (Grand Prix du Lavandou et Coupe de France) will beneficiate from a discount of more than 25 %. The more keen will even be able to cumulate the « Atlantique Le Télégramme », at Lorient, before enjoying the the low season in Mediterranean.
