Because your Diam24 od is worth it…
As part of the advice offered by the ADH inotec shipyard since the creation of the Diam 24 od and to avoid disappointments, the shipyard informs us of a new technical fix to be implemented.
For all those who want to take care of their D24od
Technical Correction : Tension of the Trampolines and Cockpit Bench
We know that many of you have developed tools and methods to tighten the trampolines in order to gain in stiffness for your performance and undoubtedly for that of the boat.
We remind you that in the design of the Diam24od the trampoline (0-90°) does not block the rectangles formed by the central hull, the arms and the float.
Too much tension causes a significant deformation of the cockpit bench by bending it towards the foot of the shroud, towards the outside.
In this part of the central hull, designed to absorb the torsion generated by the two arms, this deformation weakens the structure.
This is not good for the boat.
The trampoline was designed to be used with Dnoeuds. They are adjustable and allow to put a lot of tension already and to self-limit.
Making handles to better pull on them is a good use, sending them back to the winch is forbidden.
