The MMNRT (Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour) is equal parts a sporting event and a voyage. Challenge professional racers and visit mythical sites. Take part in a competitive race and get away in Rome, Naples, Venice… all on a controlled and affordable budget, without worrying about the logistics.
Why should you join?
Figaro 3, kite foils and Diam 24od will participate in a tour around Italy. The race will be split in two phases:
• 1st phase in the Mediterranean from August 27th to September 5th through Genoa, Rome, Gaeta and Naples
• 2nd phase in the Adriatic from September 16th to September 26th through Brindisi, Bari, Ravenna and Venice.
Each phase is made up of 4 stages and 4 ports of call…
Everything has been planned to make the participants’ lives easier (ring any bells? 🙂 )
-Accommodation, meal and transportation of the Diam 24od are taken care of and included in the registration fee so as to let you focus on sailing and making the most of your stopovers.
-You may replace crew members from between the two phases to make your planning easier and share costs
-Technical assistance will be at your disposal throughout the race and the Diam 24od will be equipped with specialized “lake” rigging suited to the Adriatic’s light summer breezes.
With new partners supporting this highly publicized event, registration fees are lower this year at 8,000€ for the two phases (down from 10,000€).
-Last but not least, Diam 24od can be rented at a very affordable price.
