Since the Paris Boat show, we have welcomed a lot of sailors, some renowned ones have chosen a favourable weather window to experience a few hours of pure pleasure.
This winter, the Breton days pass by with the magic of having the four seasons in one day. On a gloomy day, when the sun comes out, it brings enough warmth to make us forget this terrible winter for a few moments. When the wind conditions vary, sailing in the bay goes smoothly, further it’s a bit more challenging.
These past few weeks, Bruno JOURDAIN, Jacques CARAES, Thomas COVILLE, Vincent RIOU, Patrick ELIES, Jean Luc NELIAS, Daniel SOUBEN, Erwan LEROUX, Nicolas TROUSSEL, and some more, have enjoyed the stiff platform, the overall balance, the light helm, the manoeuvrability and the safety of the Diam 24 One design … They haven’t spared us with their remarks, mostly positive, but some minor aspects have been corrected.
Some professionals have already ordered a boat and started the training.
As for us, we appreciate their remarks and we’re happy that this Day-boat can benefit from their great experiences on its last adjustments. We had never expected that!
The team from “Pôle France Course au Large” in Port la Forêt who trains for the Figaro season, had seen the Diam 24 sailed and flied around them so many times so that they couldn’t resist. It ended by an afternoon of match race. Here are the first Diam 24 regattas: Design (cf. : videos gallery)
