In one week, Diam 24od number 34 will leave the ADH Inotec boatyard : the complete fleet of the coming edition of Tour de France à la Voile will have been delivered and ready to race.
This boatyard from Port la Forêt will be able to pass on to a new phase in its development : the supply of boats to « non professionals ». With over 280 registered demands, this trimaran conceived by ADH Inotec and designed by VPLV has met up with its public in France and abroad. Owners associations could see the day in the UK, Switzerland and Belgium. Danish and Argentinian crews will be test sailing the Diam 24od in the coming days, and a pole of partner-builders is being set up.

After Tour de France à la Voile
Once this boat has been delivered, a new phase will start for the boatyard. Freed from the imperatives linked to their contract with the organizers of Tour de France à la Voile, ADH Inotec will now be able to reply to requests from other customers, some of whom have solicited them for the past few months …..

Classes in th UK, Belgium, Switzerland ….
End of may, a British racer came over to Port la Forêt to test sail the Diam 24od. Used to small multihulls, he was looking for a fun boat to race in a fleet and on equal footing.
« We presented him our development strategy » explained the manager of ADH Inotec « which consisted in creating at the same time as the Diam 24od, all the neccesary background environment : an owners class, a racing circuit, event organizers, boat maintenance services, etc. He was seduced by this logic and is ready to set up an owners class in the UK along with a race circuit. »
Similarly, another class could see the day in Swizerland in autumn 2015. A weekend of trails will be organized there next october, with two boats from the boatyard and 2 others to deliver. Belgian, Danish and Argentinian crews will be visiting Port la Forêt in the coming days, to try out the Diam 24od.
A network of authorized builder boatyards.
In order to offer a proper service to these future owners, a network of builders licenced by ADH Inotec is being set up. In France and abroad, this network will offer delivery, maintenance, and a true, after sales service. They will also vouch for the « one design » aspect of the class.
The licenced boatyards will offer maintenance, the building up and dismantling, race preparations and transport, allowing racers to concentrate on the key element : the race.
« If repairs or spare parts are needed, this must be done seriously and according to the Diam 24od class rules specifications. In concrete terms, you can order your boat on internet, it can be delivered directly to you in a Dbox, or to your nearest licenced boatyard benefitting from a nearby technical follow up. » says Vianney Ancellin.
Passing into the industrial phase.
Almost 300 people are today interested in the Diam 24od ! The yard will maintain its production rhythm, « but we are limited by the space we have here » The urgency today for ADH Inotec, is to therefore set up a pole of production partners, committed and involved in the development of the Diam 24od. This pole will be made up of a GRP builder, a sail maker, a race organizer and ADH Inotec.
« We wish to enter a logic of industrial production, and there are two possibilities : either to work with big national and international companies, or to create a regional action, working with local expertise » detailed the manager of ADH Inotec.
Contacts are being taken, the goal is to put this positive action into place as soon as possible.
