The end of the Tour Voile was an unexpected setback, but also a true opportunity. The Diam 24 od’s track record in high-level competitions shouldn’t overshadow the original idea behind its inception: to create a fast, affordable and safe boat for competitive and casual sailors alike.
This fresh start has allowed us to rethink the agenda of the seasons to come and stay in tune with the current trends in the way sailing is practiced. It’s also a chance for us to bring in new crews by building on the qualities the Diam 24 has displayed over the past 7 years, delivering high-level sailing while training the next generation of champions!

The class invites you to come enjoy a regatta on a sportboat designed to race at speeds 2 to 3 times greater than single-hulls. The competitions are scheduled over weekends to accommodate your own agenda and are supported by efficient logistics to save you time and hassle while reducing your carbon footprint. The cherry on top is D-crew. A platform we set up to meet the enthusiasm of the younger generations of sailors, many of whom learned the ropes on the Tour Voile, D-crew allows you to meet and hire crew members.
Act1: Tour des Îles de Bretagne Sud, May 6-7-8 2022
A regatta and a program tailored for Diam 24 od.
The first stage of the Challenge de printemps and inaugural race of the World Diam Tour France’s 2022 test event, the Tour des Îles des Bretagne Sud is set to be a highlight in the season. Various courses will be on offer over 3 days of sailing.
Crews will be welcomed by the partner city of Clohars Carnoët, at the very Eastern end of Finistère on the South Brittany coast, only separated from Morbihan by the Laïta river. Competitors will race over 3 days on inshore courses as well as raid-style courses through the South Brittany islands, including the Glénan archipelago and circling around Groix island, with festivities taking place onshore. A media team will follow them throughout the weekend to produce and broadcast a film.
Act 2: GPEN, May 26-27-28 2022,
already a mainstay in the monotype sailing season.
A more classic race, the Diam 24 French championship will be all about sport and competition. This experience centered on sailing will feature inshore courses near Lanvéoc and raid-style courses in the Roadstead of Brest and the Iroise sea.
You will be able to ease into the new format with Easy regatta, a service designed to let you try out the Diam 24 od in optimal conditions.
